From the learner’s perspective, e-books support mobile learning by having a single handheld reading device that can easily accommodate the entirety of readings involved in one’s study. Educational institutions have to figure out how they want to support e-books and what niche they can fill within the existing ecosystem of academic publishing formats and instructional technologies.
